The Middleham B&B Whitby U.K. offers a winning combination of using local produce and a great location to make an affordable and hospitable stay.
Nothing is too much trouble for us and it is our pleasure to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
This is our 17th season and year on year our guests comment on how relaxed and refreshed they feel after staying with us.
We feel that this can be credited to the comfort and versatility of of our rooms, spread over three floors.
Being spread over three floors, three of our rooms offer stunning sea views. With the most affordable option for you (subject to availability) we also offer single occupancy.
Our Accommodation
The Middleham Bed and Breakfast accommodation is situated on the West Cliff and boasts unspoilt panoramic sea views over the stunning North Yorkshire Coastline.
A pleasant 10 minute stroll will take you to the Cafe lined streets of Whitby Harbour and Captain Cooks Memorial Museum.
Wander through the cobbled streets of the Old Town and there you will find shops and specialist boutiques selling everything from Whitby Jet to Lucky Ducks and Fossils.
For those who have the stamina you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby 13th century Church and Abbey. Once a monastery and believed to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker ‘Dracula‘ the view from the abbey is awe inspiring and a must see for all who can manage the climb. The Abbey is now part and protected by English Heritage.
Whitby has excellent rail and road links, making it the perfect place to stay and explore North Yorkshire.
Just a 10 minute picturesque drive will take you to some of the most beautiful countryside England has to offer. Feeling nostalgic, drive a little further into the North Yorkshire Moors to Goathland made famous by the TV series ‘Heartbeat‘ and Harry Potter, or try Eden Camp.
For a more relaxing day out, sit back and enjoy the scenery on a steam train across the moors from Whitby to Pickering, on the heritage line. Whatever you decide to do we are sure you will enjoy your stay at our B&B in Whitby U.K.
